The Christmas star reminds everyone that the light outshines darkness,
and everything will be alright.
Follow the star…Throughout Earth’s history, astrological events were often thought to foreshadow the birth of great heroes and rulers. The Star of Bethlehem, also known as the Christmas Star, is a heavenly sign of prophecy fulfilled long ago. It is commonly recognized as an eight-pointed star across the world and a Christmas symbol almost everywhere.
The history and mystery of the Christmas Star is loaded with unanswered questions surrounding its number of points and the most significant facts of its origin. Despite the astronomical and theological controversy, Christians trust the wise men who were mesmerized by the bright light and inspired to follow the star to Jerusalem. There they witnessed the birth of a new leader on earth, Jesus.
Stars are all around us waiting to be seen. They have a powerful influence over our lives and have often been used as a guiding path for people long before maps, compasses, or GPS. They are symbols of humanity, guidance, faith, excellence, motivation, magic, fame, and life itself!
On December 21, 2020, two planets, Jupiter and Saturn, aligned so closely in that night’s sky that they appeared to collide from our vantage point here on earth. It was a cosmic Christmas miracle that hadn’t been witnessed in nearly 800 years. The light they created was said to be radiant! (I wish I had seen it!) The amount of change that the earth experienced in 2020 was also cosmic and the event continued to express energies of change throughout this past year. On this December 21st Solstice, we will not witness the bright light in the sky, but it’s presence and energy of ‘change’ will be felt equally.
The Solstice marks the beginning of the Capricorn season. Many people will experience this transition in different ways. Be kind to each other to lessen the impact of words said and to prevent disruptions to the festivities.
Over the remaining days of this year, I hope your special star gives a clear view of friendly gatherings, love shared and experienced. It is after all, a bright light of LOVE!
“True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.” ~~ Seneca
Merry Christmas!
Love to All.
