All I Want for Christmas…

Christmas is one of the most celebrated holidays around the world. The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336! Over the years, there are many differing theories and traditions as to why Christmas is celebrated on that date. But, as for the reason, there is no dispute. Celebrating the birth of Jesus for Christians around the world has always been and continues to be “The Reason for the Season.”
Whether you are Christian or not, Christmas is a time when family and friends come together to remember with gratitude all the good things in their lives. Along with honoring the religious meaning of the day, people of all ages, especially children, also look forward to the time when you give and receive presents. I know I do!
Christmas Day is the big show on many levels; however, the count-down as well as the build-up of anticipation during the up-coming week will begin to fill the earth with added sparkle, hope and an overwhelming energy pointing us toward something bigger than our earthly knowing. Allowing the ever-flowing magic and creativity that is inside all of us to bubble to the surface will bring illuminating insight and personal potentials in clear view, as well as jingle bells and perfect gift ideas!
As the days seem to rush by, lists, parties and last-minute decorating can begin to unravel the best of schedules. However, some-way, some-how, the end of year stresses has a way of tapping into willpower reserves you never believed you possessed. To produce the best outcome over the next 9 days, keep it simple and spend more time with those you cherish. Everything important to you will get done!
Saturday, the 18th, brings the final Full Moon of 2021. It will be the longest Full Moon night of the year. At this point of the solar journey, the future feels wide open with a childlike, anticipation of newness, excitement, and change. The energy surrounding this weekend will be delightful. Work out as many details upfront as possible for the best success, then soak in all the blessings swirling around. This beautiful moon will shine a sociable and “warm blanket” glow to ignite conversation and an overarching feel-good vibe during this favorable sharing and caring cosmic event.
On a personal note… Bart and I will be celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Whoo Hoooo!!! Many special things to celebrate!
