With the first three weeks of March 2022 in our rear-view mirror, this month, so far,
can be looked at as a time of movement and transition. The winds of March have
blown so hard that it feels like March Madness!
Last weekend we all experienced the Spring Equinox. This is a time of Change,
Choice, and Decision. It is a powerful time where we are given an opportunity
(probably more than one) to cut away from the past and step into a new stream of
energy. That is, if you can get past the feeling of being overwhelmed and
exhausted!
Not only does the Equinox bring a shift in seasons, but it also brings an internal
shift in all of us signifying a turning point or the beginning of a new cycle. This can
feel like a renewal and/or it can feel like an incredibly uncomfortable place. As we
stand in this energy for the next few weeks, we are suspended between the old and
the new, and between what was and what will be. Everything is changing so fast,
old could be two weeks ago!
Shaking it up and shifting your attention away from heavier issues, even for a short
time, can help you allow the shifts and changes you are choosing to move through
flow easily, without resistance. Stepping away from situations and letting air
breathe into all parts of your life can be the most important action to take.
If you are feeling this as heaviness, and many are, allow yourself and encourage
others to stop for a moment and do something totally different. We are all such
creatures of habit! (Especially when we are too much in our head space!)

Cindi’s Blog March 24, 2022
In the U.S., the term March Madness describes one of the most exciting events in
all of sports. It is a basketball tournament that places the focus on the best of the
best. The tournament is a stage for athletic programs and the student body to
garner invaluable respect, wear their colors and show support for their favorite
college or university.
Unifying events, such as March Madness, can bring people together in unexpected
ways. The men’s National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1
basketball tournament has been played since 1939, the women’s teams joined in
1982. Henry Porter first used the term March Madness as the title to his essay, and
journalists have used it to describe the tournament ever since.
If you are not a basketball fan, the tournament is a brutal single elimination series
of games. It takes nerves of steel, confidence, and months of preparation to be
successful. (In some ways, that is the same description the entire world is feeling!)
This tournament is one of my favorite sports events. There is always a
Cinderella team that appears out of nowhere for me to follow.
Finding your distraction is as personal as it is healing. I hope you step away and
take some time to breathe in fresh air leaving the feelings of your personal March
Madness far behind!
And… If you are following the March Madness Tournament, good luck to your
favorite school!
Love to all,
Cindi.
