The middle of May highlights Selfawareness,
Self-confidence, and most
of all Self-reliance. Remember the old
song “Though April showers may
come your way, they bring the flowers
that bloom in May?” It’s an oldie but a
goodie and I am sure when you look
back to last month, you probably can
remember a shower or two! The
words made me think, “What do I want to bloom in life? (Self-confidence) What
is blooming on its own? (Self-Awareness) And what part of the past can be
declared as compost to be used as fertilizer!” (Self-reliance)
Self-confidence refers to energetic integrity.
It is where your true self and perspective
flow easily into manifestation. Self awareness
is being aware of your own
energy and energetic sovereignty. And self reliance
is the state of being in harmony
without requiring others to fill your energy
gaps or resolve your issues.
“May,” the actual name of this collection of days, plays a large role in
determining direction for navigating the remainder of the month and through
the end of the year. May can be both a declarative and an interrogative. How
we use the word determines the direction we are choosing to take.

LIVING EMPOWERED

When asking for permission, ‘May I’ is perfect. However, using this choice, we
will spend a lot of time waiting for someone to agree before we take action.
With a slight change of words, ‘I May,’ steps us into our energetic sovereignty.
Using this sequence we are declaring our intention. We will find that the back
and forth of these two phrases will become an ongoing juggling performance
as we walk powerfully on our own path.
Different word choices, fresh starts, completion,
and closure to work together to create
transformation. With each increase of self -awareness
we begin to see things as they are and
not as we choose to see them or hope they
become. With so much energy moving and
transforming our confidence, awareness, and
reliance, knowing when we are asking or
declaring will be a catalyst to a successful end of
May.
If you are finding decisions, answers, or direction a bit too out of control, you
can always find a blooming daisy and ask the obvious questions, ‘Maybe or
Maybe – Not!’
Love to all,
Cindi
