“NUMEROLOGY IS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN WHO YOU ARE NOW AND WHO YOU HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE.” ~~ ANONYMOUS
Fall is here! Even if the leaves and temperatures are not shifting in your area, football, pumpkins, and Halloween decorations are clear signs of anticipation for the holiday season. October is the 10th month of the year. With the start of a new month, new energies are activated. This month the Universal 6 takes over.
The essence of every number is linked to a personality. The set of character traits that resonates with the ‘6’ is harmony, compassion, stability, and domestic happiness. The loving nature of the Number 6 energy is comfortable interacting with others, so October is looking like a month that has wonderful potential for getting out and enjoying family and friends.
As we learn more about the numbers that appear in our lives, we can discover clues that will help us to better understand ourselves and the world we live in. Numerical data is used by everyone in all areas of life. Whether you are an economist, carpenter, musician, or chef, numbers help us to describe and shape our experiences. Numbers are useful symbols that are designed to structure context and represent reality. Numbers as thought forms, help to shape the way we perceive the world.
I was in a Numerology class long ago learning the role each number had to offer in everyday life. The day we discussed ‘6’ energy was a turning point of understanding for me and everyone else in the class. The person sitting next to me had lots of 6’s in her chart. Her birthdate, her name, even the house she chose to live in added up to the Number 6. Her response when asked how she felt this attribute impacted her life, she said. “Well, I always give, but people in my life are not very appreciative.”
By the end of the class, she discovered, most of the people she was trying so very hard to give to, also had ‘6’ energy in their primary numbers. It was amazing to see the lightbulbs go off. No one she was trying to give to was willing to be the receiver! They also were more comfortable giving and not understanding of why she never was gracious to them. It is a common problem amongst people with similar numbers to have the same quirks to unravel, but also easily re-directed when awareness of the discord is understood. By the end of the course, she acknowledged how with her newfound knowledge, her family was getting along in a much happier way.
One of the most endearing attributes of the 6 is being known as a giver. The 6 energy is at its core the essence of the art of giving and receiving. How we give and receive is a blended dance with its own chemical composition. It is a complicated topic to navigate in the best of circumstances, but the spotlight of the exchange in a ‘6’ month can bring the awareness of imbalance or discontent in a relationship. If this month brings this topic to the foreground of your life, remember it is there to be balanced. Contrast is one of our greatest teachers!
The New Moon on October 6th enhances the overall 6 energy placing our harmony and balance of personal connections up for review. Relationships of all kinds are always bigger than the sum of their parts. Focusing on what and how you give and receive in partnerships will strengthen the relationship. Throughout October there will be a continued inner and outer expansion of clarity taking all of us away from the status quo.
Here’s to finding your balance!
